Procedure details: Before and after reconstructive rhinoplasty and mid-facelift and cheek implants for trauma. Patient is a victim of domestic violence, almost killed by her former boyfriend who left her with more than 14 broken bones in her face, requiring reconstructive surgery. Upon presentation to Dr. Epstein, she was seeking a softer, more natural appearance. It was decided to perform a midfacelift, placement of cheek implants (permanent) and reconstructive rhinoplasty. This complex nose surgery required the placement of GoreTex® and cartilage grafts, and a variety of other complex maneuvers, creating a much more natural softer appearance. Because Dr. Epstein participates in the NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROJECT-  the procedure was performed at a reduced fee.
