Is Dysport better than Botox? How are they different and do they last the same amount of time?
Answer:
Botox was originally produced by Allergan who had a patent for many years and that is why it was the only product on the market. However, Dysport is now on the market and it is technically the same botulism toxin drug that Botox is. However, due to the fact that they are prepared slightly differently, it works quicker and lasts longer. Botox usually lasts anywhere from one to three months and Dysport apparently lasts anywhere from six months to nine months.
